Unless you've been living under a rock, you have at least heard of the "Hawk Tuah Girl." Haliey Welch is the viral internet personality known for her catchphrase "hawk tuah." She suddenly gained notoriety after a video of her answering a question on a TikTok livestream by Tim & Dee TV went viral. In the video, she responds to a question about oral sex and says you have to "hawk tuah" and spit on that thang. The phrase "hawk tuah" quickly became a meme and Welch's unexpected fame skyrocketed.

Since then, Welch has capitalized on her newfound popularity by selling merchandise featuring her catchphrase, and making appearances at various events. Haliey threw out the first pitch at a New York Mets game.

Haliey Welch’s Paws Across America was established in partnership with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT) to bring awareness, advocacy, and financial assistance to animal charities within the U.S. Through Haliey Welch’s Paws Across America, she aims to make a difference in the lives of countless animals in need. Every donation made to the fund is tax-receipted and will be used to support animal shelters and rescue organizations across the country directly.
